Welcome to the Rutgers Day 2011 Blog

Rutgers Day 2011 is less than a month away!

Over the next four weeks, the contributors to this blog will highlight many of the more than 500 free programs scheduled for the third annual event on April 30.

Want to know the best programs for kids? Looking for your favorite activities from last year? We’ll answer your questions and provide tips so you can make the most of your day.

Visitors will be able to experience cultures from around the world, debate the issues of the day, listen to or recite poetry, dig for treasure, explore the sea, or watch a cockroach race.

Parking is free and free buses will be available to shuttle visitors among activities at the College Avenue, Douglass, George H. Cook and Busch campuses.

Visit the Rutgers Day website for more information or check out some of our posts from last year. Be sure to return to the blog each day for the latest updates.

Take a look at our highlights video from 2010 to get in the Rutgers Day spirit.
