Rutgers President Invites Community to Rutgers Day

Rutgers President Richard L. McCormick

On Saturday, April 30, Rutgers will open its doors to all New Jerseyans as we proudly host the third annual Rutgers Day on the New Brunswick and Piscataway campuses.

Last year’s event drew 75,000 visitors who took the opportunity to enjoy and experience the vitality of New Jersey’s state university.  We anticipate another great turnout for this year’s event, which will feature more than 500 fun and exciting programs showcasing Rutgers’ importance to the state.

Please join us from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and bring your family, friends, and neighbors to this free event.

The day’s lively offerings include tours, performances, exhibits, demonstrations, hands-on activities, and children’s programs, as well as the always popular Ag Field Day, New Jersey Folk Festival, and annual spring football game. Visitors can test new technologies, sharpen workplace skills, explore historic landmarks, get tips for healthy living, celebrate diverse cultures, and so much more.

For detailed information and help in planning your day, visit the Rutgers Day website. I hope to see you rain or shine at Rutgers Day on Saturday, April 30.
