Rutgers Day for Prospective Students

Want to learn more about coming to Rutgers?

Various programs for prospective students will take place at the Visitor Center on Rutgers Day.

Rutgers Day is a great opportunity to see and hear about everything the university has to offer. You can attend a formal program geared toward prospective students or check out some of the 500 other programs on schedule for the day.

Make sure you visit the Visitor Center on Busch Campus for prospective student programs.

Learn about majors, requirements, deadlines, scholarships, financial aid options, and much more from admissions counselors at “Rutgers 101: An Introduction to Rutgers University.”

If you’d rather get answers from students, meet our Scarlet Ambassadors at an interactive panel designed to give you an insider’s look at the university. Ask all your questions about dining halls, bus schedules, classes, and anything else.

You can also learn about our “Thirst for Knowledge” programs for people ages 50 and over. Or get information about our classes in the Division of Continuing Studies.

But don’t forget to also grab a map and explore to find other programs that interest you.

“Rutgers Day is a good day for anyone to come out and experience what Rutgers has to offer,” said Nancy Pullen, director of admissions. It’s a fun day where a lot of departments have a lot of fun things planned.”
