Catch the Acts at Rutgers Day

Rutgers Day will have many musical performances but stages on every campus will showcase talents of all types so don’t miss out on some of our other options.

Experience the diversity that Rutgers has to offer by starting your day with the Capoeira Club at 11:20 a.m. on the Big R Stage on the College Avenue Campus. Capoeira comes from Afro-Brazilian roots and mixes songs and dances like Samba de Roda and Maculele with martial arts.

Also on the College Avenue Campus, see modern yo-yoing such as a twist on the popular ‘walk the dog’ trick with Yo-Yo Dojo at 2:35 p.m. on the Scarlet Stage in the Bishop House Area.

Beware of flames from the Rutgers Juggling Club on Busch Campus. The juggling show starts at 2:15 and is bound to be blazing HOT.

Performances on the Cook/Douglass Campus will go out with a ‘bang’ when the Rutgers ROTC Queens Guard Drill Team performs for the second time of the day on the Big R Stage at 2:35 p.m. You can also see the Drill Team open the NJ Folk Festival parade in the beginning of the day.
