An Animal Lovers Guide to Rutgers Day

From puppies and ponies to piglets and lambs there will be plenty of animals to warm your heart on Rutgers Day.

Admire the baby animals during the 42nd Annual Farm Animal Show in the barns on Cook Campus. Want to get up close to the animals. Visit the piglets, lambs and other baby animals at the petting zoo. This attraction is always a huge hit, so get there early!

Have you ever wondered about the animals that make their homes at Rutgers? Visit the Cook Campus Farm Area where there are a wide variety of animals that you won’t want to miss!

From 1-2 p.m. see magnificent horses gallop at full speed on an equine treadmill or, stop by the Equine Science Barn to learn more about the horses and Equine Science Club. You can also take a tour of the barn where horses from the Rutgers  mounted patrol live in when they are not on duty.
