All You Can Eat for Rutgers Day 2016

Kieran Rogers enjoys the Undergraduate Food Science Club’s ice cream during Rutgers Day.

Foodies rejoice! Rutgers Day will have many delicious options for all tastes.

Challenge your palate during “Fromage Frenzy,” a French cheese tasting test presented by the Department of French on Voorhees Mall.

Once you’ve seen Rutgers engineers make liquid nitrogen ice cream on Busch Campus (yes, they’ll give you a taste!), indulge in made-to-order funnel cake to support Beta Gamma Sigma’s partnership with Make-A-Wish Foundation on Busch Campus.

The Harvest Restaurant will offer samples of its delicious, nutritious fare while the Undergraduate Food Science Club serves their popular homemade ice cream near Passion Puddle on Cook/Douglass Campus.

If you’re a foodie with a green thumb, stop by the plant sales hosted by the Cooperative Extension of Middlesex County and the Cook Researchers of Plant Science for vegetables, fruits, and herbs. The #Rutgers250 tomato and the Rutgers Scarlet Strawberry will be on hand. You may even win a hazelnut seedling from the Woody Plant Breeding Program.

Cupcakes provided by dining services on the Cook Campus

R cupcakes are provided by Rutgers Dining Services during Rutgers Day.

Of course, R cupcakes will be available at “sweet stops” hosted by Rutgers Dining Services in New Brunswick, Camden and Newark.

Share all your fun using #RutgersDay on social media. You can also upload your photos using the Donate a Photo app; Johnson & Johnson will give $1 to Rutgers to support need-based scholarships for students in health care-related fields.
